Service, Training and Troubleshooting
A computer can play up for any reason. We can assist in troubleshooting, fixing and repairing your computer so you can be back up and running. If you need to know how to do a task we can assist. If your computer is giving you trouble we can help.
Service
We all need a little TLC sometimes, and desktop and laptop computers are no different.
Many factors can impact your PC performance, including: configuration issues, bad drivers, system updates, start-up applications, malicious software, and undiagnosed hardware problems (memory, storage, overheating etc). And small things can make a huge difference.
Our Health check service can help by: freeing up wasted space, identifying and resolving security issues, keeping everything up to date, optimise your system start-up, uncovering hidden problems, and checking the overall health of your computer.
Desktop computers require good airflow to keep them cool. Airflow brings with it dust and debris which can clog cooling fans. Clogged fans increase temperature, which impacts performance and stability.
If your computer is noisy, or overheating and unstable a deep clean may help prolong the life of your computer.
Training
Need a hand getting going with your new computer? Want to improve your computing skills?
We all need a little help sometimes and if you’re new to computers, and computing, we can come and visit you in your home and provide you with basic training to help get you up and running.

Troubleshooting
If something has stopped working for no obvious reason, give us a call to help you troubleshoot so we can find a solution and get you back up and running. Examples of what we troubleshoot: start-up problems, error messages, black/blue screen, crashes & stability issues etc.
Backup, Installation, Recovery & Virus Removal
Disasters come in all shapes and sizes. Anyone who has lost a computer, suffered a hard drive failure, or been hit by a Virus or Ransomware attack, knows that moment of panic and realisation that, without a backup, the possibility of recovering their important data may be all but gone.
Backup
We can assist in setting you up so you have more than one place for recovery if disaster hits. You can never have enough backups.
Installation
You may have experience issues with installing for a range of reasons, be it a new device such as a modem, printer or, software like Outlook to setup your email. We can also help you setup a backup schedule, have a recovery disc on the shelf ready to go if needed, Configure your other devices like webcams, scanners, your phone (like iTunes).
We’re not limited to computers. We can install your Apple TV, Fetch TV or Google Chromecast which will give you access to catch-up TV services (ABC iView, SBS On Demand, 9Now, 7Plus, and TenPlay). And to premium subscription services such as Netflix, Stan, Amazon Prime, BritBox.
As we specialise in Windows, we do have experience in setting up any Linux distribution. We do not support Apple.
Recovery
We can help with computer to computer file transfer, when/if Windows becomes inoperative. We can recover files, restore them and have Windows back up and running.
Virus Removal
Viruses and Malware are a scourge and becoming more common in unprecedented numbers.
Malware is a collective term for Viruses, Spyware, Botnets, Keyloggers, Rootkits, Worms and Ransomware and a host of other Malicious Software designed to disrupt operations and undermine the security of your personal information.
Often introduced to your computer by clicking infected links/adverts on websites, by email attachments/links, or via infected documents/files unwittingly sent from your colleagues and friends. You can also contract them by using infected USB devices (hard drives, memory sticks etc.)
